The ski resorts of France's Savoie-Mont Blanc area are inviting the best skiers to hit the region's most challenging runs.

To make it easier for experts to pick their next conquest, the Savoie-Mont Blanc tourism office has compiled a list of the pistes and the resorts where you can find them.

Some of the expert runs include The Swiss Wall at [R587R, Avoriaz], The Noire de Greuvettaz at [R2800R, Les Contamines-Montjoie], and L'Epaule de Charvet at Val d'Isère. Another choice is the speed-skiing run at Les Arcs, where the current speed record is set at 251 km/hour. Will you be daring enough to break it?

For each run, Savoie-Mont Blanc gives all the necessary technical information: altitude, vertical drop, distance, gradient, and how to get to the run. And because even expert skiers are out there to have fun, there's even information about "that little extra" that makes your feet itch to hit that piste.

The French version of the site also includes legendary runs - those that have made history thanks to their role in major competitions or to famous skiers who once left their traces in the snow.

These skiable legends include La Verte des Houches and La Combe Lachenal at [R106R, Chamonix], the Emile Allais at [R1085R, Megève], La Jean Blanc at [R117R, Courchevel], La OK at [R483R, Val d'Isère], and La Ramasse at [R2784R, Val Cenis].

All of these runs are highly technical and are for expert-level skiers in good physical condition.
