Natural snowfalls, advanced technical means and total team commitment have enabled Val d’Isère to create the necessary snow cover required for the races.


December 20th and 21st : Two World Cup speed events on the OK run at la Daille.

All eyes will be on Anna Fenninger, winner of the 2014 World Cup standings, Lindsay Vonn, Olympic Downhill champion and Marion Rolland, 2013 World downhill champion, both back from knee injuries… along with an exceptional forerunner – four times Sotchi Olympic Champion Marie Bochet. A cluster of stars promising powerful sensations for the Downhill and Super G.

Followed by prize giving in the finish area and the show will go on on all sides. DJ’s, dancers and firework displays illuminate the prizegiving ceremony in the village centre while a sponsors village displaying the latest novelties can be found in the OK finish area at la Daille.

The public has been able to ski on the Pissaillas glacier since November 29th and the opening of the Solaise and Fornet areas is imminent.
