Absolutely love St Foy. Amazing access to unrivalled off-piste but perfect for the family on-piste. Relaxed atmosphere, cheap ski passes, easy to get to resort, great restaurants and bars, we love it and will DEFINITELY be coming back!
Family friendly, unrivalled off-piste, very relaxed, absolutely love it!

Nice and empty off pice is very good and often empty as it is a beginners resort so not that many people skiing it. Very good food as well with very good ski instructors from esf. The instructors also know the area very well and know where to get the best of piece snow in every condition. One of the greatest skiing experience i have was when i went for a long weekend in early march. Was only around 50-100 people in the resort and even if u go in half term or Christmas it still isnt very busy. Only draw back is that is quite a hassle to get to
Very quite and peaceful some very good off piste skiing

After many years visiting 'bigger' resorts, where should we pick as our first trip with the kids? Sainte-foy didn't disappoint. Great ski school and magic carpets in resort with easy blues to help them develop. For us there was a great choice of runs all across the mountain and never too far away from nearest mountain pitstop. Great resort, with a very relaxed feel - not a queue or crowd in site...perfect.
No lift queues and quiet pistes. Family friendly.
Hmmm.... Tough one.!? Quiet apresski, but you need to expect that.

I have been coming for years. The ski school the esf is really friendly and helpful. Amazing off piste some harder than others. Its a great experience for the family and I would definitely recommend going.

This is a surprisingly big ski area given it is served by 4 lifts only. The runs have a nice gradient and contours. Mileage hungry intermediates will be disappointed. Slopes are generally quiet. Nightlife for teenagers / young adults limited to 2 bars. Restuarants are good but no mid market. Black Diamond high end. Colones rustic. If have a car must go to Chez Marie in less Mirror. Yoanne at Zig zags runs an excellent ski shop. Ski school is superb especially for kids - recommend Sylvain or Julian ESF or Patrick Snowcool. Private recommend Olivier Empeurer. The resort comes into its own with off piste with opportunities, between ski runs, in the forest or into neighbouring valleys.
Great natural runs and off piste opportunities
Not a resort for mileage hungry intermediates
Great resort. Despite only have 6 lifts there is a vast array of skiing for all abilities. Great for families and singles alike. Not got a manic nightlife like the bigger resorts but there are still 2/3 bars where the atmosphere is great. All restaurants sell quality food with lovely ambiance.
Nice quiet resort with very few queues - 10 people in a queue is crowded
None that I can think of

Had great powder for whole week but unfortunately due to no consistent reason given by staff at ticket office, top Aguile chair never operated so all Natur Park off piste area and many red runs closed..this further limited an already limited ski/board area. For families and intermediates looking for safe skiing on tree protected blues and a couple of reds (beware reds get mogulled if blacks and upper reds closed) will enjoy this spot - and never be disturbed by rowdy evenings. Boarders will not appreciate the Middle Arpettaz chair as the get on is a brutal arse kicker and the get off will face plant you by trapping your board if you dither getting your legs up and your bum off
Never Crowded, great new bottom 4 person chair
Very limited night life, 2 bars (no toffee vodka
