Was there Friday. Fabulous job by management and snowmaking team to get this place ready. Earliest I've ever skied. Thank you. And A+ to parks crew as well. Mad river could learn a few things from this place. The woods lift shut down and the Mansfield lift was quite slow so perhaps do better testing and maintenance before opening day to prevent this. Lifts were definitely stressed to the max so perhaps consider an upgrade for busiest lift??? Snow was soft spring like conditions. Lift speed was slow. Spent >5 min on lift for 15 second ride down. Learn how to ride a lift folks- it's not that hard. The amount of times the lift stopped because people fell or dropped equipment was unreal. Got 37 runs in 4 hours so works out to about 6.5min round trip per run (too long imo for a 300' vert hill).
Tldr: great early season Ohio. Prices reflected that. Will return but prob not until get 100% open.
