While there’s no direct train to Livigno, the closest station is in Tirano, about 70 km away, which connects to Milan by regional trains. From Tirano, travellers can use bus or taxi services to reach the resort. Several coach companies also offer seasonal services from cities such as Milan and Bergamo directly to Livigno.

For those driving, Livigno is accessible by road, though it’s important to check winter conditions, especially when using the Passo del Foscagno from Bormio or the Munt La Schera tunnel from Switzerland. The tunnel operates a toll system and is one-way at times, so checking the schedule in advance is recommended.
