The first time I came was 13 years old, and this year I'm 84! I've never missed a year! I come every year with my children and grandchildren!!! We all love this resort ❤️
The ski area is magnificent and very varied
Après-ski for those who still have energy after a day of skiing

We have been over 10 times to StG. It is friendly, safe and the locals are very welcoming. A compact town centre gives you all the amenities for apartment living. The new link to Le Fayet (2025/6) means you can now get off a train and take the cable car over to StG directly. There is also a new, reclaimed water-driven(!), lift down to the spa and ski lockers at the bottom of the cable car. We recommend visiting Combloux for extra blue and red tree-lined runs that can be quite quiet but start early, especially if you want to do the 5km shaded run down to La Giettaz. References to StG as a 'village' are quite wrong - it's a small town.
Quick transfer to GVA, town very relaxed with plenty of restaurants.
Not ski-in ski-out, if that is important.

Saint-Gervais and Saint-Nicolas-de-Véroce offer complementary skiing experiences within the vast Évasion Mont-Blanc ski area. Saint-Nicolas-de-Véroce will appeal to those seeking authenticity and tranquility, with its Savoyard village atmosphere and unspoiled landscapes. Saint-Gervais offers more direct access to a wider selection of slopes, shops, and activities, with a slightly more lively atmosphere. Both villages share the same advantages in terms of scenery and access to the extensive ski area, but differ in their atmosphere. The choice between the two will depend on individual preferences: tranquility and authenticity for Saint-Nicolas, more choice and activity for Saint-Gervais. It is important to note that potential issues with lift overcrowding and road access can affect both areas. In short, it's an ideal destination for families, couples, and groups of friends looking for a varied skiing experience in an exceptional setting, allowing them to choose the atmosphere that suits them best.

The area offers a wide variety of slopes, suitable for all levels. Saint-Nicolas-de-Véroce stands out for its more authentic character and traditional village atmosphere, with slopes that are often quieter and landscapes preserved.
As mentioned previously, overcrowding on the ski lifts can be a problem, especially during peak periods. This can affect both sectors, although Saint-Nicolas-de-Véroce is generally less crowded. Compared to Saint-G

Saint-Gervais Mont-Blanc is a charming and authentic ski resort located at the foot of Mont Blanc. It combines an exceptional natural setting with modern infrastructure to offer a complete experience for skiers of all levels. The ski area is vast and varied, with slopes suitable for both beginners and more experienced skiers, and the resort boasts breathtaking views of the Mont Blanc massif, making it a popular destination for mountain lovers. The village of Saint-Gervais, with its picturesque streets and friendly atmosphere, retains a traditional character that appeals to visitors seeking authenticity. While well-equipped, the resort doesn't lose its charm. The ski lifts are modern and efficient, providing quick access to the different areas of the ski area. In addition, the resort has a renowned thermal spa, perfect for relaxing after a day on the slopes. However, despite its excellent ski infrastructure, the resort may seem a bit quiet for those seeking a lively nightlife or a wide range of activities besides skiing. Après-ski is more relaxed and less vibrant than in some other Alpine resorts. In short, Saint-Gervais Mont-Blanc is an ideal destination for skiers looking for nature, tranquility, and good value for money. It's a perfect place for a holiday with family or friends, with a magnificent setting and activities to suit all tastes, although some might find it lacking in entertainment for those seeking more variety.
At the foot of Mont Blanc - quality ski area - modern infrastructure
Après-ski activities - Mid-altitude with sometimes limited snow cover

Lovely little resort. The people are welcoming, even at the end of the season. By taking two gondolas, you find yourself on a beautiful ski area, even at the end of March, which was the case for me. Plus, you can find good prices on online private sales sites for skiing at the end of the season.

Brice Beaujeux
Station accueillante domaine skiable complet
