The ski area Zauchensee is located in the heart of the Salzburger Sportwelt in the Ski Amadé. It offers modern and very well-groomed slopes for all levels of difficulty. The village Flachauwinkl, right in the middle of the ski area Zauchensee, has a lot to offer, especially for day trippers. The ski area is not only the one with the highest altitude in the Salzburger Sportwelt but also one of the most snow reliable areas in Austria.
