5 months agoReally quiet - this is the top of Mene in the morning. Barely anyone else around. Snow depth and coverage is great. Bit icy and crunchy in the mornings, then softening and easier in the afternoon.

Isola 2000 is located in the French Southern Alps within Alpes-Maritimes, overlooking the Tinée Valley and close to the Italian border. The resort starts at around 2,000 m and rises to approximately 2,610 m, providing favourable altitude for winter sports. The ski area covers 2,000 ha, offers 45 pistes, 19 lifts and around 120 km of skiing. The piste network caters to a wide range of abilities. Approximately 16% of pistes are suitable for beginners, 49% for intermediates, 29% for advanced skiers and 7% for experts. High elevation, extensive snowmaking and open Alpine terrain help maintain reliable snow conditions throughout much of the season. Isola 2000 stands out for combining substantial Alpine skiing with convenient access from the Mediterranean coast. Families benefit from beginner zones, a snowpark and tubing facilities, while experienced skiers enjoy longer descents and expansive views across the Southern Alps.
