Since 1973 I have been coming to Corvara with my family every year except for 2 years and for the first 35 years I have lived at Pensione Ladinia and then at Sportshotel Panorama. Every year has been a treat for body and soul, where my 5 children and 14 grandchildren have learned to ski and most recently 2 great-grandchildren. I cannot praise this place enough and the nature you run in is very difficult to find its equal. I am looking forward to leaving again on February 21, 2026 and for the first time by plane from Copenhagen to Bolzano.

I've been visiting Corvara for twenty years with my family, with ever-increasing tourism and sky-high prices.

As a ski resort, it's very popular! The slopes are very well maintained. The staff who welcome tourists are knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. Unfortunately, hotel rooms require booking well in advance. Prices are generally high.

The real highlight are the slopes, maintained in impeccable condition and suitable for all levels of experience. The modern and fast lifts allow you to maximize your time on the slopes by eliminating long waits. The connection system between the various areas is efficient and well-planned. An ideal destination for those seeking a complete and rewarding mountain experience.

Every year I return to Alta Badia, and every time I leave, I already think about booking for the following season. Whether it's snowing, sunny, or raining, the lifts are always open and the slopes are perfectly groomed. You can get every satisfaction from iconic and challenging runs like the Gran Risa to easier, pure fun slopes like those in San Cassiano. There are plenty of refuges, very welcoming and offering quality meals. At the end of the day, you'll always find the ski school bar at the foot of the slopes, where you can enjoy a mulled wine with friends. And then, if you want to explore the Dolomites on skis, you can do the Sella Ronda or reach wonderful places like the Marmolada or Lagazuoi. I recommend anyone who loves skiing to come and ski in Val Badia at least once. I'm sure they'll come back.

Slopes for all levels, from the legendary Gran Risa to the long but easy Pralongià, always impeccably maintained. Perfect facilities where you never have to push yourself to get to the next one, no matter what you're doing. Many tours are available, including the Sellaronda, the Grande Guerra, and Lagazuoi.
