We stayed in Nesselwang and walked to the slopes everyday. We feel that the resort is fundamentally flawed by a layout that treats the access point as one giant car park. You then have to walk through the car park to access the children's ski school area and the family slope, which is another 10 minutes on foot. Hugely disappointed with the family slope, the path to it is not treated in winter and was treacherously icy. The family slope itself was not well prepared, despite the snow cannon. It felt like an afterthought to the main resort. It would be ideal to have a shuttle bus serving the ski slopes from the train station, and one to take families on to the family slope. Unfortunately car seems to be king and as pedestrians we felt like second class skiers. There are no lockers for those who can't lock their possessions in the car, and toilet areas are also quite far from the slopes for little legs. Disappointing for family friendly resort.
Handy if you have a car and good value on the Königscard scheme.
Lack of public transport and shuttle connections. Slopes far apart and path to family slope untreated in winter. No lockers.

Ziemlich klein

Pistes heel fijn & divers, leuke eettentjes onderweg. Natuurlijk niet heel groot, wel afwisselend. Ook leuke rodelbaan. Plaatsje heeft aantal goede retaurants & kroegen.
gemoedelijk, mooie pistes
niet groot of echt moeilijk
