Scenary, people...
Some winters the snow is not abundant

Full review

If you like the Austrian Alps, you'll feel at home in Cerler. One of the best routes for begginers (Rovellons), easy-intermediate pistes all around the resort and incredible backcountry areas for experts. Enchanted villages from s.XV like Benasque, Cerler, Sahún, Sesué... and great spanish gastro and nightlife. The only cons: Some winters the resort is short of snow (but not a really problem, because Cerler has the biggest snow-producing system in Spain) and the access to the Valley by car (a narrow road but with a wonderful panorama). I hardly recommend Cerler. Together with Baqueira Beret (at 90min by car), there is probably the best ski-week destination of the Pyrenees (including Andorra).
