Windy and sleeting but plenty of new snow....conditions may be tolerable in a few days

been alot this season cover is good but very hard and icy. seems good if you get in after fresh snow but notice in alot spots from base to summit snow is only 20-30cm an melting underneath opening up cracks. i would say average base is more like 50cm as only areas of heavy snow making will have anywhere near a mitre.
