A gentler sibling to our RX12 piste racer, the RX11 is toned down so everyone can taste World Cup feel. Thanks to its sandwich build, “Hollowtech Race” and double Titanal bands, it’s still very sporty, with optimal edge grip and trademark Kästle calm. Depending on length, it skis like a slalom or a giant slalom model.

That Kästle entered the RX in both SP Short Turn and Long Turn shows how crucial length choice is! Add or subtract 12–13 cm and you change the ski’s character profoundly. At 163 cm the RX11 is a versatile short-turner that blends sport with comfort. Turn initiation is especially easy; handling is friendly. “The relaxed take on an SPST,” says a tester. Ideal for lighter skiers who value control and lightness in short turns – without giving up performance entirely.
