“A rebound like a bungee cord,” says one tester with a laugh, perfectly summing up the playful side of the M Cross. The Dynastar takes a slightly freer approach to all-piste skiing than many other models. The modern tip and longer rocker give it a light, effortless feel and make it well-suited to terrain close to the piste. Unlike many of its all-piste counterparts, the focus here isn’t on racy sportiness, but on the lightness of being. Younger skiers in particular will get a lot of enjoyment out of this laid-back, fun-to-ride ski.
