Kästle RX12 SL (Raceplate)

What the manufacturer says

This highly sporty short-turn carver has been completely redesigned and impresses with maximum performance; the update to the core construction with the “Infini-Core Race” brings a slightly more balanced and harmonious character. Features such as the World Cup-inspired sidecut and the Race Finish nevertheless make the RX12 SL a racing machine. The “Hollowtech Race”, combined with features such as a wooden core wrapped in a carbon-fibre and glass-fibre weave, delivers precise control.

SKIMAGAZIN review

“Go for it, go for it, go for it!” The RX12 SL skis like a racing ski and rewards determined skiers with snappy short turns. It really comes into its own when carved; when drifting, it becomes significantly more stubborn and demands a great deal of concentration. It loves hard-packed slopes and really takes its toll over long periods. “A ski that wants to be skied,” say our testers. “Slalom power for sporty skiers who prefer to attack rather than glide and are prepared to put in the effort.”
