What the manufacturer says

The Equipe SL 12, the counterpart to the giant slalom model Equipe 12 GS in the new Race collection, has been designed for tight short turns on groomed slopes. The new “Power Control System” (PCS) offers outstanding stability underfoot, as well as damping and a high degree of precision during high-speed runs, so you can pick up speed with every turn.

SKIMAGAZIN review

Racing for everyday use – that’s exactly how the new slalom model from Salomon rides. Agile, precise and with strong rebound, it carves tight turns into the snow whilst remaining surprisingly harmonious. Some (powerful and dynamic) testers had a permanent smile on their faces, whilst others call it a high-performance piece of sports equipment. Both descriptions are spot on. “A turn-hungry short-turn monster,” is the verdict of many. It demands active skiers, but doesn’t overwhelm them straight away. A complete slalom carver packed with excitement, appealing to a broad, sporty audience and with real addictive potential. Brilliant!
