Freeride
You wake up and fresh powder is calling your name! Off you go into the deep snow – but do you have the right ski? That’s exactly why all-mountain free models were created. With waists over 95 mm, they hold up solidly on piste, deliver loads of fun on the side of the piste, and shine in open terrain. In short: these multi-talented skis make skiing a joyful experience, anywhere in the mountains.

The all-rounder for every type of snow
Introducing the all-mountain free ski: combining a waist of 95–110 mm and a sporty design, the All-Mountain Free ski is
built for versatility across piste and various terrain. While wider than pure piste models, so a little slower than narrower
skis, it still delivers solid on-slope performance. Its real strength lies off-piste: floating through soft snow, crushing
spring conditions, and absorbing bumps with ease. It is the perfect companion for skiers who love versatility and want to
experience unlimited skiing fun in the mountains.
Strengths
- Sporty yet extremely versatile.
- Loves medium and long turns.
- Works in all snow types, especially soft snow.
- Energy-saving flex for easier control.
- Stable and forgiving in tricky spring conditions like slush. Absorbs almost all bumps!
- Provides strong flotation in powder.
Weaknesses
- Wider waist makes edge changes slower compared to the lively and more manoeuvrable piste skis.
- Needs strength and technique for fast changes and reactions.
- Not designed for aggressive carving on hard pistes.
- Struggles on icy slopes.
Recommended Length: Sporty, technically skilled skiers choose skis in lengths of 180–190 cm, while shorter and lighter all-mountain enthusiasts opt for skis that are 5–10 cm smaller. The longer an All-Mountain Free model is, the more lift it offers, but it loses some of its manoeuvrability.
