Solid, well-behaved and pleasantly easy to control: the S/Max N°14 gets a lot right without making a particularly loud statement. “S/Max is simply a safe bet,” says one tester. It’s easy to carve into turns, drifts well and performs admirably on short to medium-radius turns. For very sporty skiers, it lacks a bit of liveliness, rebound and character. Anyone looking for an uncomplicated, slalom-oriented ski that doesn’t demand too much but provides reliable support will find a dependable partner here.
