I assume the previous poster refers to a gravel driveway with a blanket of snow covering. It is patchy in well used areas but still usable. More snow is needed.

THIN snow cover. Sub-par to no snowmaking or management. Some runs at Flegre and Brevent resembled a gravel driveway. Spent 3 Days there and they barely turned on the snow machines. If you must go, Vallorcine was the best with Megève/St Gervais second best. Shameful performance at Flegre & Brevent!
