Fantasic access to the higher slopes such as La Plagne and Bellecote, as well as the more obvious Vanoise Express across to Les Arcs. Our party had a catered chalet (La Epicea) in Les Coches and travelled over from the UK on the overnight Eurostar - this meant we had 8 days skiing, rather than your usual 6. Because of this all the party went for the paradiski unlimited passes which gives full access to both the Les Coches-La Plagne-Les Arcs area, collectivley known as the Paradiski - but to be honest there are so many slopes available on the Les Coches side that unless you are a mad for it do every slope, or an advanced skier only looking for the off piste, then the discovery pass which gives you just one day in Les Arcs is ample. Nightlife is a bit limited, and if you were looking to eat out every night you would soon tire of whats on offer. However what there is, is very good, and of avaerage price for this area and type of holiday. The village has been styled on a traditional alpine feel, and so avoids lots of concrete etc - most of the property looks like traditional chalets rather than apartment blocks. All in all a great place to ski and will def be going back in a few years time
More runs than you can shake a stick at
Les Coches - limited nightlife
