Excellent for beginners and those wanting to progress, good access to the large Grand Massif area for harder runs. Very good for families! Not much in the way of apes ski but there are a few bars. If in Les Esserts (Morillion 1100) and the gondola is closed there is not much to do.

Been coming here with family for the last 10 years - there are some great piste runs for all abilities - Marvel us fantastic for the younger/beginners as it's a nice long steady green run with enough little kickers at the sides and shortcuts through trees to keep everyone entertained. Plenty of off piste to explore for those powder days. There are some great restaurants serving everything from snacks upwards - Chalet D' Clair and La Combe are kids favourites - Prices are typical for ski resorts. Very quiet outside of school holidays so no longer lift queues. Links through to other Grand Massif resorts are easy and open up a big playground to explore. All in all a great resort
great ski resort with enough piste and off piste for all - part of grand massif therefore plenty to keep you entertained.
could benefit from extra lift capacity ( to be fair the existing system copes well outside of school holiday periods

Love this place. Six years & still finding new bits.
close to airport, family focused, good selection of runs and great ski area.
Only one pub/bar so limited competition keeping prices high.

Easy drive from Geneva airport and has a good range of private accommodation. Morillon has one of the best green runs in all the alps, and therefore is well suited to beginners and families. That said, Morillon forms part of the grand massif range, with connections to Samoens, Les Carroz and Flaine with 265km of piste and loads of options for off piste skiing. The apres ski in Morillon is ok, but really the resort is geared up to families so it is not going to compare to the larger resorts that cater for partying as much as skiing.

just visited morillon for the first time. Its an easy 50 minute drive from Geneva airport. quiet friendly resort, easy access to ski slopes and the grand massif ski area, but if your are looking for nightlife there is none.
quaint old village, quiet
altitude, nightlife
Very very easy holiday. Close to Geneva so no long transfers. Queues rare on the slopes and relatively large area at 265km sq. Great facilities for kids with nursery at Morillon and at Samoens (5 mins drive away) and several different ski schools. Igloo restaurant fabulous on the slopes at Morillon and really like La Table de Fifine at Samoens
In morillon itself great blues/reds then further afield great off piste in Flaine.
Great range of restaurants in morillon and samoens but not a place to party allnight
