It used to be a great ski resort for a day or two, but now it's incredibly overcrowded and there's no limit on ticket sales. Busloads of day-trippers arrive from Slovakia. It took us two and a half hours to get to the top of the mountain. NEVER AGAIN!!
I wouldn't go there again. Disappointing for the ticket prices. Completely overcrowded. No logistics. The lift systems are technically poorly designed. The mid-station is unusable. Waiting times of over 45 minutes are normal on weekends :( :(. Totally disappointing.

In our opinion, the marking of the slopes does not correspond to reality, the blue marked tracks have many difficult sections that should be marked red, in one case I think that one section at the very top of the peak might even be black. The area is definitely not suitable for beginners or weaker skiers. It was a big disappointment for us.

Dňa 04.02.2023 katastrofálne ziazdovky, totálne neupravené trate už o 10:00 priam oranisko. Viac som čakal v rade, ako som sa lyžoval. Cena 55 eur totálne nezodpovedá službám.

Das Stuhleck ist ein schönes und gut gepflegtes Schigebiet, die Erreichbarkeit von Wien aus ist ein großes Plus. Durch das große Einzugsgebiet, welches neben Wien auch erhebliche Teile von Ungarn und der Slowakei umfasst, und die dortigen Pauschalangebote, zu billigen Preisen in Bussen anzureisen, ist das Gebiet aber (zumindest an Wochenenden) meistens völlig überlaufen. Das führt zu unzumutbaren Wartezeiten an den Liften und überfüllter Gastronomie. Auch bei totaler Überlastung der Anlagen werden weiterhin Karten an noch mehr Gäste verkauft. Das Preis/Leistungs-Verhältnis (€ 44,50 [!] für die Tageskarte bei geraed einmal vier Sesselliften) kann daher nur als ziemlich "bescheiden" bewertet werden.
