In many areas, the snow completely fell by 11 a.m. due to the high temperatures. In some areas, the lumps were so large that it was hard to distinguish between the piste and the off-piste slopes. Pictured is the red Ortesino slope, one of the few still in acceptable condition at the end of the day.

The snow holds up from 1400 meters up until 10-11 in the morning, then it becomes mush even in the Pioverna area, where the altitude is highest. If it weren't for the temperatures hovering around 7-8°C, the slopes would have been well maintained.

Not much powder, but well groomed packed made for a fun day. Busy lifts, but that's to be expected over holidays.
