Even in cold weather, the seat heating on new lifts is not activated. Some mountain huts should not skimp on staff (friendliness leaves much to be desired). Lift staff very friendly and helpful.
Attention electric car drivers: A not insignificant blocking fee of approximately €3 per hour is charged for the EV charging stations in Scheffau after charging is complete and until you drive away, even if not all charging stations are occupied. Very sensible, because how are you supposed to drive away when you're in the ski area? To me, it's more like a rip-off.
Great ski resort
In Scheffau in der SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser Brixental ist man mittendrin in diesem riesen Skigebiet. Die Anfahrt aus Deutschland ist eigentlich super entspannt, wenn man nicht in der Hoch-Zeit gerade im Stau steht... Wir als mittelmäßige Skifahrer kommen hier gut klar, für Könner müsste man vermutlich woanders hin, da es hier nicht die super anstrengenden und fordernden Pisten gibt, aber na ja, für uns war es okay. Wir sind u.a. die Aualm-Piste gefahren und haben die Kaiser-Runde gedreht. Beides zu empfehlen. Insgesamt ein guter Einstieg in die SkiWelt.
