Packed powder with some obstacles on the steep runs. The lines were pretty long for a Friday with no new snow.

Alta does not groom very much. Resort is best suited to advanced powder hounds. For groomed runs of all levels, Deer Valley, Park City and Snowbird are better choices.

Great Monday 1/4 at Alta. Most runs open with really good conditions from 4" overnight. Supreme lift closed today and tomorrow for maintenance.
