Despite the slightly higher prices from Rome, it remains one of the closest and most beautiful ski resorts, with excellent quality both for the people and the slopes. It's definitely worth spending even just a day there.

It's beautiful and, above all, large, with excellent quality both in terms of people, slopes, and, of course, snow. It's absolutely worth spending even just a day there. And in past years, every four-day stay has been truly fabulous.

My first experience in Roccaraso was more negative than positive. Everything was incredibly expensive, only for the rich, people were scattered everywhere, damned everywhere, in front of the ski lifts, in front of the ski slopes, at the entrances to the refuges everywhere. Rightly, you don't expect Alpine snow, but the ski passes cost almost as much as up there... the rental costs the same, if not more... the instructors, the same, the paid parking, everything costs a lot. Lots of people get hurt, I've seen plenty. Anyway, aside from the hotel and the slopes in the early hours of the morning, I regretfully (because it's not far) wouldn't return.

Il complesso di Aremogna Monte PratelloLuogo è facilmente raggiungibile da tutto il cento sud italia. Ovviamente parliamo di appennino e dobbiamo sempre ricordarlo per evitare inutili paragoni con impianti Alpini dove il freddo è la maggiore altitudine possono garantire più manti imbiancati. Nel complesso c'è un'ottima scuola adatta ai bimbi e adulti. Maestri attenti preparati pazienti. Una pecca la individuo per mancanza di divisioni sky/show troppi bimbi e troppe tavole adulte. Ottima scelta di strutture dai classici alberghi alle "rue" che preferisco per la familiarità.

Roccaraso è una stazione sciistica che offre tanto, ma deve migliorare ancora tanti aspetti per poter essere paragonata a stazioni del Nord Italia più importanti. Sono anni che la frequento e a mio parere le migliorie da fare sono:
Migliorare il sito internet e facilitare l'acquisto on-line dello skipass (l'ultima volta l'ho acquistato online ma arrivato al tornello non funzionava e ho dovuto fare ugualmente la coda allo ski info per risolvere il problema)
Partecipare alla famosa App Snowit dov'è possibile effettuare acquisto skipass, noleggio attrezzature e prenotazioni hotel
Ridurre il costo dell'intero importo quando non sono aperti tutti gli impianti (mi è capitato di pagare il prezzo pieno anche con un quarto degli impianti aperti)
Attuare una convenzione per studenti universitari e per under 18
Insomma, le migliorie da fare ci sono, nulla toglie che rispetto alla media delle stazioni sciistiche del centro Italia già siamo un gradino superiore.

Per chi abita a Roma, Napoli o Bari la Stazione sciistica Roccaraso-Aremogna-Rivisondoli-Pratello è la migliore sia per distanza che per attrezzature. Non faccio paragoni con le stazioni alpine - come alcuni fanno - perchè si tratta di contesti geografici e ambientali diversi. Il mio giudizio è ampiamente positivo.

Luogo interessante a livello naturalistico , è un appenino , perciò meno verde come come colori delle Alpi o delle Dolomiti .
Voglio anche dire che ci sono stato in estate , ma i sevizi sono inesistenti inesistenti , con prezzi comunque molto elevati .
Insomma tutto molto trasandato e di certo non invoglia a tornarci a sciare , in quota non c’è un rifugio nemmeno per sbaglio , per salire e scendere in 2 con l’ ovovia da Roccaraso, anche perché a Rivisondoli in estate nessun impianto è aperto , 40 euro mah ....
Siamo seri , rispetto a qualsiasi altro luogo di montagna del nord Italia siamo una trentina di anni indietro.
Gente cortese , ma tutto il resto è imbarazzante .
