Vallnord / Pal-Arinsal offers 60 km of skiable terrain across 707 hectares, with 47 pistes served by 30 lifts. The resort is divided into two sectors—Pal and Arinsal—connected by a cable car and covered under a single ski pass. With elevations ranging from 1,550 m to 2,560 m, the terrain offers a vertical drop of 1,010 m and consistent snow conditions supported by extensive snowmaking.

Beginners will find gentle slopes and nursery areas in Pal, particularly near La Caubella. The Snow Garden offers interactive features and safe learning zones for children, while wide green pistes like El Planell provide a smooth introduction to skiing. Arinsal also features beginner terrain near the Comallemple base, with easy access to ski schools and rental services.

Intermediate skiers benefit from 40% of the terrain, with blue and red pistes stretching across both sectors. The La Serra run in Pal offers a 6 km descent with varied gradients and scenic views. Arinsal’s tree-lined pistes and rolling terrain near the Port Vell lift provide a satisfying mix of pace and flow, ideal for building confidence and enjoying longer sessions.

Advanced skiers can explore 36% of the terrain, including red and black runs near Pic del Cubil and Les Fonts. The steep descents in Arinsal’s upper bowl offer technical challenges and excellent snow retention. The slalom stadium in Pal is open to the public outside race periods and provides a structured environment for high-speed carving.

Expert skiers will appreciate the freeride zones near Pic del Cubil and the ridge above Arinsal. These areas offer natural features such as bowls and couloirs, with avalanche control and lift access. The black run La Coma is a standout for its gradient and snow reliability, often used for training and timed descents.

Freestyle riders can enjoy the terrain park in Arinsal, which includes 6 rails, kickers and a tubing lane. The park is designed for progression, with features for beginners and advanced riders alike. Music and a chill-out zone add to the atmosphere, making it a popular spot for afternoon sessions.
