Brentonico stretches over the entire plateau northeast of the Monte Baldo Range, between Lake Garda and the Valle dell'Adige. The town's historical appearance, with its elegant palazzos, reflects its role in the Brentonico territory. The town is located near the park of Palù and is shaded by centuries-old, majestic poplars with their powerful trunks. The whole area promotes complete relaxation. One of the most beautiful buildings in town, Palazzo Eccheli-Baisi, features a botanic garden where several species of flowers endemic on Monte Baldo are grown and cultivated. Healthy walks - with different levels of difficulty - can be enjoyed such as the one along the ancient Regole trail and allow visitors to admire the vast array of plant and flower varieties found in the Baldo area. Both the war trails from WWI and the artistic itineraries in the area are extremely interesting. Tourists are invited to visit the church, the 6th century crypt and to admire the numerous forms of rural architecture found here. The view from Monte Altissimo (2070 m) and Vignola is breathtaking and spans from Lake Garda to the Po plain to include the Dolomites and the entire Alpine Range.
