So, the ski resort is easily accessible from my home in Luxembourg and is quite hidden away. It's rarely open; last year it was only open for about one or two weeks. I was there skiing at the beginning of December, which was a real rarity. I've been there several times before, but last year I noticed that the lift ticket price had almost doubled. That's outrageous for barely three short runs. The "parking lot" (more like a mud pit) also costs €5. The runs are really very short; even the indoor ski slope in Amnéville is longer. The green run is nice for beginners, and the blue run is a bit steeper at the start. Both runs are very nice, and it's really fun when the weather is good. However, the drag lifts are anything but beginner-friendly and rather rough. I constantly saw people falling off the lift, which made the wait time get longer and longer. I do like the quick start and the nostalgia of the old Pomali lifts, though. The red run is located on the slope a little behind the main area. The slope starts gently but ends abruptly in a very steep section (almost like a black run) before the lift station. This slope is more challenging but also often closed, as it requires a lot of snow. The resort has now purchased two snow cannons, but even these can't save the very low-lying area from the mild temperatures. The small snack bar is okay: you can enjoy a beer or mulled wine, but the food is below average.
