Located in Hedmark, eastern Norway, Trysil is the country’s largest ski resort and a long-standing favourite among Scandinavian skiers. The resort spans 708 hectares of skiable terrain and receives an average annual snowfall of 210 cm, supported by extensive snowmaking across the mountain. With 42 lifts and 67 pistes, Trysil offers a well-balanced mix of difficulty levels: 35% beginner, 17% intermediate, 26% advanced, and 22% expert. The vertical drop of 625 metres from summit to base ensures a satisfying descent for all skill levels.Trysil is particularly well-suited to families, with dedicated children’s areas, ski schools, and gentle beginner zones located near the Turistsenteret and Høyfjellssenteret hubs.
