Dolní Morava sits below Králický Sněžník, on the border area between the Orlické hory and Jeseníky mountains, and is one of the Czech Republic’s more varied winter resorts. The ski area covers 104 ha and offers 10 pistes served by 7 lifts. Skiing takes place between roughly 662 and 1,232 m, with snowmaking supporting key parts of the area. The piste mix is approximately 52% intermediate, 42% advanced and 6% expert. In total, Dolní Morava has 9.8 km of pistes, with the longest descent reaching up to 3.7 km. This gives the resort a more substantial feel than many smaller Czech ski areas, especially for skiers who enjoy longer linked runs. Dolní Morava is a strong choice for families and mixed groups because skiing is only part of the experience. Official winter activities include Stezka v oblacích, Sky Bridge 721, bobová dráha and tubing, giving non-skiers and children plenty to do. It is best suited to visitors who want a compact mountain resort with skiing, views and activities in one place.
