Skiareál Plešivec sits in the Krušné hory mountains near Abertamy in the Czech Republic, offering a compact but capable ski area with a friendly, practical feel. For British visitors, it is a good option if you want a more affordable Central European ski trip with clear piste layout, mountain scenery and manageable transfer distances. SKI RESORT AREA: the resort covers 120 ha, with 10 pistes and 9 lifts. There are around 12 km of pistes, with a difficulty mix of roughly 61% intermediate, 23% advanced and 16% expert. The ski area runs from about 710 m to 1,028 m, and snowmaking helps support conditions during the winter season. Families will appreciate the broad pistes, snowpark, tubing and easy-to-understand layout. Plešivec is not a huge linked ski domain, but it works well for weekends, short breaks and mixed-ability groups who want straightforward skiing without losing time navigating a large resort.
