A ski resort's overall star rating displayed here is not calculated based on a simple average but takes several factors, including the age of a review, into account.
Beautiful setting, lovely wide and varied slopes. Easy access by car; you can quickly pick up a lift pass and you're already on the gondola.
Be aware, though, that it can get very crowded, especially on weekends.

Les Diablerets is a picturesque ski resort located in the Swiss Alps, in the canton of Vaud. Nestled at an altitude of 1,200 meters, this charming mountain village is surrounded by breathtaking alpine scenery, with the famous Glacier 3000 as its focal point. Renowned for its authentic Swiss character, Les Diablerets combines traditional chalets with modern infrastructure, making it a popular destination for skiers and nature lovers alike.
Les Diablerets is part of the Glacier 3000 ski area, which guarantees snow cover from November to May thanks to its high-altitude glacier. The resort offers over 125 kilometers of slopes, ranging from ideal beginner runs to challenging descents for experienced skiers. The highlight is the Combe d’Audon, an impressive black run that attracts seasoned skiers. The area is also linked to neighboring resorts such as Villars and Gryon, offering a diverse and extensive skiing experience.
In addition to skiing and snowboarding, Les Diablerets offers a wide range of winter activities, including:
• Snowshoeing and cross-country skiing trails through pristine alpine forests.
• The Peak Walk by Tissot, a unique suspension bridge connecting two peaks, with panoramic views of the surrounding Alps, including Mont Blanc and the Matterhorn.
• A bobsleigh track on Glacier 3000 for thrill-seekers.
• Ice climbing, sledding, and winter hiking for outdoor enthusiasts.

Beautiful scenery and plenty of off-piste opportunities among the trees :)

Great for families
Huge range in piste types and difficulty
With 2 ski areas accessed from the village centre also the link to Villars, Glacier 3000 (and a short bus to Leysin) skiing is really varied - which is great!
New lifts in 2016 and 2018 (with more planned!) are nice too.
