A ski resort's overall star rating displayed here is not calculated based on a simple average but takes several factors, including the age of a review, into account.
We visited Kasina twice this season. The first time, it was crowded, with huge queues for the lift, and moguls forming within an hour (only one run was open). The slope was downright dangerous due to the number of people on the slope (including a large number of beginner skiers who struggled on the supposedly "blue" run). We gave this resort a second chance after buying Black Friday passes. We went for evening skiing, freshly groomed, as the weather forecast promised excellent conditions. However, I've never seen such a poorly groomed slope. The slope was littered with icy rocks the size of a fist and larger. Not just in one spot, but suddenly, a section of rocks several dozen meters long appeared on the slope... in the upper, middle, and lower sections. The slope was also uneven, with numerous holes. It was simply dangerous. For me, an advanced skier, it was unpleasant, let alone for people who don't even know how to ski on edges. Additionally, I believe the "blue" route shouldn't be designated as blue, as it's not suitable for beginners.
The prices of regular season tickets are absurd compared to what the station offers.
There are many other stations around Krakow that offer better conditions at lower prices. I definitely don't recommend the Kasina, especially if you're a beginner.

Especially on weekends, you have to park far away and trample through the mud with your equipment and ski boots. When they organize some ridiculous children's competition, they close the red run for practically the entire day, and the ticket price doesn't change, even though half the run is inaccessible, half because there are only two. If one is closed, the other becomes crowded when fully booked, making it dangerous.

Not recommended for intermediate or less advanced skiers. The rest of the resort is fine. Just like everywhere else. But you don't come to the slopes for the bars.

Only ice and moguls, and the slope is very narrow

Poorly prepared trails. The groomers either don't know their job or are simply looking to cover the ground at the lowest possible cost. It's clear that pre-season grooming is reduced to shoddy compaction to get the trails open as quickly as possible, while during the season, it's just shoddy leveling. Mid-day grooming is a good idea, but it needs to be done better, not just sloppy runs to save money. The groomers only travel up and down, leaving large, elongated bumps that are unpleasant to ride on. Usually, only one trail is open, so the better ones travel alongside the lesser ones, and in crowded conditions, collisions are easy.

The slope is close to Krakow, with good access and parking. In my opinion, the blue trail should be blue-red, or red, because it's demanding at the beginning and end.

Najlepszy stok blisko od Krakowa. Szybki wyciag i ciekawy profil trasy .
Mniej ludzi i lepsza jakość stoku (bo mniej muld)

Idealny stok na szybki wypad z Krakowa.

Jeździłem od godziny 12 do 15. Miałem karnet do końca dnia jednak zrezygnowałem. Potężne muldy.
