A fantastic ski area just a stone's throw from Milan. The views are stunning, the slopes well-maintained, and the managers are friendly and helpful.
Near Milan, top-notch rentals
Very crowded on holidays

An excellent location for beginners and enthusiasts looking to improve their skills. The resort is equipped with modern, automated facilities and services. Excellent artificial snow and natural snowfall are available. The huts have very friendly staff and delicious traditional dishes.
Nearby. Excellent snow conditions. Sunny and well-maintained slopes. Automatic ticket machines. Telepass entrance. Paved parking lots.
Lots of people at the weekend

Piani di Bobbio is a nice resort, but not as beginners friendly as i thought. I have been skiing for 20 plus years but wanted to find an easy to get to resort from Malpensa, as my 3 year old daughter suffers from car sickness. If you plan on going Monday to Thursday, you will probably have a nice time as the resort doesn’t get packed and you will find a parking spot in the parking next to the cable car departing point, and so it would all be relative le quick. With kids, i’d suggest renting equipment in the shops by the slopes, so you don’t have to carry boots and skis up the mountain. The biggest disappointment is that they don’t have a beginner’s ski carpet (the only one they have is reserved for the ski instructors) which despite being a relative le easy resort, is at odds, as a total beginner child would need to take a Chair lift and ski a 1km blue piste, as the “easiest” option, which really doesn’t make sense! They have 2 carpets for bona going downhill, 1 of which is actually closed during the week, and it would make a lot more sense of 1 of them was reserved for total beginners to practice for their post ski instructor solo skiing.
The resort is only 1 hour away from Milan, and about 1-5 hours from Malpensa, so it’s extremely easy and quick to get to.
Can be crowded (but Mon-Thurs is fine)

Excellent and close to Milan!

It is a ski resort primarily for beginner skiers given the presence of fairly easy blue runs, while on the intermediate level there are very fun red and black runs with significant gradients.
Excellent resort, fairly long and fun slopes
Not too big

Poche piste e molta gente
Diego Ortisei
Vicino a milano
Piste corte e impianti progettati male

vicino a casa , va bene in settimana
