I went there from December 14th to 21st, 2024, just before the school holidays, and also on Saturday, March 1st (school holidays). This resort is a manageable size, not very large, but I wasn't able to ski all the slopes; some were closed, and I didn't have time for others. I tested 3/4 of the chairlifts and they are fast. Grands Jeux (Great Games) Armoise (Armoise) Plan Sec (slower because it's the one that leads to the green and blue runs of the ESF ski schools) I didn't get a chance to try Fournache (to get to the summit and ski the more challenging runs). So, the chairlifts are fast, pleasant, and easily accessible. This resort is bathed in sunshine (yes, even in the middle of December!) and when it does show up, it's a real pleasure. The snow was pretty good, and I didn't ski on slush (except on March 1st in the lower part of the resort from the Ortet and Toutoune junction, two blue runs). In short, it's a resort I highly recommend, especially for beginners and families. Experienced skiers should look elsewhere, as it will be too small for you. Note that the Balmes (black run) seems to be frequently closed; it has a reputation for being the most difficult black run in the HMV area. (Haute Maurienne Vanoise), (Val Fréjus, Val Cenis, Bonneval-sur-Arc). I didn't pay attention to the festivities outside of skiing, so I didn't have time to see what was happening outside of skiing.
Under the tropical sun - Very sunny resort

A lovely discovery, a beautiful, typical village; we had a pleasant family stay (with teenagers).
Good location, easy and quick access by car. Variety of shops. Affordable lift passes. No waiting at the ski lifts.
The tour of the domain is done quite quickly, while being pleasant. To descend, the passage on the blue run is quite steep for a beginner.

Beautiful family resort with slopes for all levels. Village with very friendly and varied shops. Excellent fondue at Gégé's Ortet refuge. Very warm welcome everywhere.
Trails for all levels
The Balmes black run is never groomed and therefore very physically demanding!!

A very good resort for a relaxing holiday with family or friends.
A cool, family-friendly resort with a great atmosphere and fantastic entertainment!
The package is too expensive for the area offered.

A charming village offering a variety of fun activities each season (discover biathlon, dog sledding, escape games, quizzes, etc.). The ESF team is excellent and provides top-notch support for children learning to ski. The resort is easily accessible on foot or by shuttle bus and has all the necessary shops and services. It's very easy to get to from Modane.

Good resort, well suited to beginners and intermediates, including good old skiers, who can occasionally ski hard and most of the time coolly with the wind in their face.
Bonne station à taille humaine, pour la détente.

Jolie station familiale qui a gardé le côté typique d'un village savoyard sans grands immeubles modernes. Petits commerces et restaurants sympathiques. Besu domaine skiable.
Village typique montagnard
