The ski area is magnificent. However, I do not recommend the village of Crest Voland. Only one of the two chairlifts was open, forcing us to carry our skis on our shoulders for several hundred meters. Both could have been running, but it was clearly too much work for such a small resort. It's a shame, as we had deliberately booked an apartment opposite a lift (and paid the price accordingly). Deliberately reducing service for a resort below 1500m altitude, especially when many skiers are questioning the future of the sport, is a strange strategy.
Lovely resort with chalets
The ski lifts and the ESF (French Ski School)

Please note, if you are a cross-country skier, the Les Saisies Nordic area is only accessible by chairlift if you purchase a day pass at Crest Volant. Weekly or season Nordic passes are not valid. You will then need to purchase a pedestrian pass for €6.

Magique.
Manque sans doute de quelques commerces.
