With 28 miles of runs, this is one of Spain’s larger ski areas and it manages to keep busy all year thanks to a busy summer operation which helps to keep the tourist money rolling in year round and keeping the resort sustainable.
The 2,500 foot lift-served vertical is also amongst the biggest in Spain and a new six-seater chairlift has given a boost to the otherwise rather elderly lift selection. There is skiing for all standards including off-piste and a new freestyle park with jumps and quarter pipes which was revamped for 06-07. There’s also a dedicated children's slope and ever expanding snow making.
Although there are limited facilities including a hotel slopeside, apres ski is best in the original villages of Rialp and Sort nearby.
