Beautiful resorts in a magnificent setting, but lacking snowshoeing and Nordic skiing trails.

This ski area, encompassing Barèges and La Mongie, is the largest in the Pyrenees, boasting 100km of slopes suitable for all levels (children's and beginner areas, freestyle, Nordic). Everything is in place for an unforgettable stay. From Barèges, a large free car park is available at the foot of the chairlift, allowing you to head out to La Mongie in the sunshine first thing in the morning. You'll be treated to an incredible panorama with a view of the famous Pic du Midi de Bigorre. In the afternoon, you can ski again in the sun, this time in Barèges, in a magical setting amidst the fir forest. After this intense and exhilarating day, there's nothing better than relaxing at the thermal baths. Finally, I highly recommend the restaurant La Coquelle; its setting is fantastic and the food is delicious. Be careful not to overindulge so you're in good shape the next day! I dream of returning for a longer stay to go snowshoeing and dog sledding.

Very good resort
Florian MERLE
Overall, a good review. A comprehensive ski area with numerous slopes for all levels. However, prices are a bit high and don't adjust according to when the ski area is open.
Within the village, there's a family-friendly atmosphere.

A wide variety of slopes; when there's snow, it's perfect for tree skiing or long descents.

The station is great with nice bars
