This year the snow is plentiful, so we're enjoying a wide variety of slopes and a truly majestic landscape. There's something for everyone. The gondola ride up from the town center is fantastic. You can also drive up if you prefer, but it takes a bit longer! The town is truly beautiful with its historic charm. While you can tell the town's heyday is behind it, it remains very pleasant and offers restaurants and shops.

  • very nice family resort
  • probably not big enough for professionals

The resort has pretty scenery and a few nice runs, like the Marmottes run. However, there aren't many runs, and not to mention the closed ones; I didn't count the number advertised. The toboggan area is tiny. So, in the end, it's a fairly expensive resort considering the services offered (no half-day rates, no price adjustments based on slope conditions). It's a resort for a weekend, not a week-long stay.

  • Beautiful view, some nice slopes
  • Few slopes, some icy slopes, no tobogganing

A family-friendly resort with slopes for all levels. Beautiful views. A very good experience.

  • A family-friendly resort with beautiful slopes. Magnificent views of the Pyrenees and a more than reasonable price for such a well-known resort.
  • Some slopes go down low and when there is little snow they are prone to black ice.

A human-sized resort, but the ski area is a bit small for good skiers, but with some nice spots.

  • Good atmosphere and another effective comeback
  • A bit small and often closed, and dark.

Beautiful views when there's snow, the chairlifts are good, the food is good, and you can sleep there. Two ways to get up: by gondola or by car, with a very large car park.

  • Large ski area
  • Village far from the resort

Excellent value for money for this family-friendly resort, easily accessible from Toulouse.

A very good resort for a family; everyone can find something to enjoy. However, there's a lack of nightlife.

  • A charming and very family-friendly resort
  • Expensive price

I really like this resort, as an adult skier: the slopes are quite long (especially on the Céciré run), it's pretty, and the snow is well-groomed in the "Lac" area. The price is significantly more reasonable than the resorts in the Aure Valley. The father's opinion is more nuanced: the half-day or beginner rates are high compared to the full rate, and there's no family discount... Incidentally, I was quite disappointed by the attitude of some ESF instructors who weren't very patient with my children ("Sir, I have a question..." => "I don't answer questions"). I know it was a busy day, but still, not very inspiring.

  • pleasant and varied slopes, full price of the lift pass
  • no set half-day or beginner rate

A very good family resort, a bit old-fashioned but the new gondola lift is great. The town of Luchon is very nice and the 8-minute access to the slopes is fantastic.

  • A pleasant, family-friendly resort on a human scale.
  • There's not much après-ski activity, and the resort is a bit old-fashioned.

A human-sized resort, but the ski area is a bit small for good skiers, but with some nice spots.
