A ski resort's overall star rating displayed here is not calculated based on a simple average but takes several factors, including the age of a review, into account.
A family-friendly resort with slopes for all levels. Beautiful views.
A very good experience.

A human-sized resort, but the ski area is a bit small for good skiers, but with some nice spots.

Beautiful views when there's snow, the chairlifts are good, the food is good, and you can sleep there. Two ways to get up: by gondola or by car, with a very large car park.
Julien RIOS
Excellent value for money for this family-friendly resort, easily accessible from Toulouse.
Mathis Grandville
A very good resort for a family; everyone can find something to enjoy. However, there's a lack of nightlife.

I really like this resort, as an adult skier: the slopes are quite long (especially on the Céciré run), it's pretty, and the snow is well-groomed in the "Lac" area. The price is significantly more reasonable than the resorts in the Aure Valley.
The father's opinion is more nuanced: the half-day or beginner rates are high compared to the full rate, and there's no family discount... Incidentally, I was quite disappointed by the attitude of some ESF instructors who weren't very patient with my children ("Sir, I have a question..." => "I don't answer questions"). I know it was a busy day, but still, not very inspiring.

A very good family resort, a bit old-fashioned but the new gondola lift is great. The town of Luchon is very nice and the 8-minute access to the slopes is fantastic.

A human-sized resort, but the ski area is a bit small for good skiers, but with some nice spots.

Living in the area, we've loved coming to Superbagnere for years, and the 3-hour pass with the child rate allowed us to have affordable days out.
What a shame the child rate is gone!
Another point: the blue and red runs merge in several places, and fast skiers end up weaving between children, which is very dangerous. We witnessed several instances of skiers veering off course, with shouts of "Get off the piste!" or "Don't stand in the middle of it!" when it involved beginners, or even a child who had fallen and was hit (without serious injury) by an angry teenager. In short, I think signs about speed limits and the need to be considerate of less vulnerable skiers would be essential.
We hope that the snow isn't already a thing of the past and that skiing will remain this magical activity of our winters.

A small resort well-suited for families and intermediate skiers.
The new cable car is a great addition for accessing the resort.
Given the lack of daily evening entertainment in the resort (e.g., restaurants), it would be desirable to keep the cable car open until 11:30 pm during the season.
The ski area is located at a moderate altitude, so snow cover is more frequent. Consequently, some slopes are closed, and an adjustment to the lift pass price would be advisable when only a third of the area is open.
