A ski resort's overall star rating displayed here is not calculated based on a simple average but takes several factors, including the age of a review, into account.
Beautiful ski area with well-maintained slopes of various levels of difficulty.
Only two things were missing for me to be completely satisfied, the terrible gravel parking lot and the incredible queues of cars after skiing. The queues probably can't be influenced, but the parking lot could definitely be improved.
Otherwise, I definitely recommend a visit to the area.

You can definitely enjoy yourself in Szczyrk, but the condition of some of the accommodations and rooms still leaves much to be desired, and you might end up getting ripped off. For example, the VacationClub building at 2 Salmopolska Street is a renovated shack. The windows are old and the wind blows through them, and in our room no. 6 in February 2025, the stench from the bathroom drain was so unbearable. We had to leave after just one night. It's a tragedy! They charged us 364 PLN for just one night in a double room, just like in a hotel. They even added cleaning costs... Avoid VacationClubs everywhere. They're clearly scammers trying to sell you crap for a fortune.

Very good driving conditions.

Very little snow. The ground is visible in places. Every trail is full of rocks. I don't recommend it.

This slope is a real joke. We bought tickets from 12 to 16. Not to mention that we didn't start skiing until an hour later because of the queues (one queue had a 30-minute wait). The slope was FULL OF STONES. Skis had to be thrown away. I had to take pictures. The prices in the restaurant are outrageous. No one informed us that to get from one lift to the next you have to walk a kilometer with your skis in your hands and use your feet to support yourself uphill. I will NEVER return to this slope, and I don't recommend it to anyone. I'm currently filing a complaint for damaged skis.
Best regards.

Despite poor weather conditions, the resort is doing well. We managed to ski every day, on some days to the max. There were small queues.

I just got back from the slope. I was not pleasantly surprised by the lift. With such an expensive ticket, the slope should have been better prepared. I had an unpleasant surprise with an unattended, closed slope. When I got down the slope, I couldn't go up because the lift was closed. I had to go all the way down to the town and take the bus back to the parking lot. It wasn't worth going back up because the queue was 20 minutes long, plus the ride took us another 20 minutes to get up, and the lifts are open until 3:30 p.m., so wasted time and money, no fun. I don't recommend it. It's a waste of money and time.

Stay 31/12/2024-06/01/2025 preparation of the resort - a tragedy, maybe 25% of the ski slopes are open, prices for ski passes are outrageous, queues for the lifts are a tragedy, we were there for the first and last time, I do not recommend it.

0/10. The number of available slopes and the price of the lift pass are joke number one!
Joke number two is letting tons of people in, creating massive queues on each of the only three available slopes.
Basically, for a 6-hour ski trip, you're in line 90% of the time, you get a glimpse of the crowds, and then you end up on a stuffed couch trying to nurse the frostbite you sustained while queuing.
People, this isn't a place for skiing! You're just standing in crowds!!
Never again. For that price, it's better to go to the Dolomites.
