Lots of different and varied runs
expensive, not great for nordic skiing

Full review

Spend a week and a half in Serre Chevalier and the Alpine skiing was amazing. The XC tracks are a few minutes down the road and are particularly boring unless you go all the way around the Valley (30km) and even then quite unexciting at most points. Back to Alpine, the runs are very varied and absolutely fantastic. There is a lot of room to explore off the piste for technical and thrillseeking skiers/snowboarders but there is also ramps and rails etc if you are into that. The only downside is the cost of the resteraunts on the slope, but if you simply buy your own beforehand that is a problem solved. Top notch resort.
