A ski resort's overall star rating displayed here is not calculated based on a simple average but takes several factors, including the age of a review, into account.
I found the wooden bridge perfectly covered in snow and not chaotic, not too many people and perfectly maintained slopes
Fabrizio MARCHIONI
Two out of eight slopes closed every morning at Ponte Temu' and long and tiring connections in Tonale
Marce Barzoli
A ski area for everyone, with almost always plenty of snow, even at Temù (1200m), and when there's not much snow, you can always head to Tonale or Presena. Excellent off-piste skiing and even a snow park in high season, though the first section is missing at Christmas. Fantastic runs for both beginners and experts. The best runs are Alpine: Malga Valbiolo (western Tonale), Bleis, Contrabbandieri, Paradiso, Alpe Alta, and the runs at Pontidilegno and Temù.
Claudio Corradini
An excellent ski area with a wide range of slopes, tolls, and variety, perfect for families and young people.
Close to other interesting ski and hiking areas. The Lombardy side, in particular, lacks adequate accommodations.
Marco Agnelli
Very good for both beginners and experts.

Family-friendly resort, several works underway to improve the resort

The Ponte di Legno/Tonale ski resort is overall nice, easy for beginners.
I was there just yesterday, since it had snowed a lot in the previous weeks! The slopes weren't even groomed, and I started skiing at 9:30 (the resort opens at 8:30). There were already piles and piles of snow on the slopes, with a high risk of injury! I say you were incredibly lucky to have so much snow, but work it, dammit... And instead, nothing...
Too bad

A beautiful resort that improves steadily year after year. The emphasis is on safety and comfort (bubbles on most lifts). I also recommend the Bombardino at the bottom of the Angelo.

A beautiful ski area, with both easy runs for beginners and steep, technical runs for experts, especially in the Pontedilegno and Temù areas. There are open, sunny runs in Tonale, interesting and challenging forest runs in the lower section, and incredible scenery from Presena with breathtaking views of the Adamello glacier. The snow is generally well-maintained, there are several refuges to stay at, and the connection between Pontedilegno and Tonale is excellent. My favorite place!

Everything is very well connected, the only thing missing is a departure point or chairlift at the intermediate "vigili" station just before Tonale.
