Itter - SkiWelt is usually reached by road via the A12 Inntal motorway, continuing from Wörgl or Kufstein towards Itter. Salvistabahn is the main lift access from the village into SkiWelt. The most convenient airports are Innsbruck, Salzburg and Munich, with onward travel by train and local bus.

For rail travel, Wörgl Hauptbahnhof and Hopfgarten im Brixental are the most useful stations. Regional buses and ski buses connect the area with Itter and nearby lift bases. Driving is the easiest option for families and groups with luggage, while train plus local transport is often the better-value choice if your accommodation is close to a stop.

Intermediates can make the most of SkiWelt’s linked layout. From Itter, it is easy to build a full ski day towards Hohe Salve, Söll or Scheffau using a mix of blue and red pistes.

Advanced skiers will find more demanding red and black sections across the wider SkiWelt. The full area offers 275 km of pistes, skiing from around 620 m to 1,869 m and a longest run of about 7.3 km.

SkiWelt also has three official parks and family-friendly activity areas, adding variety for snowboarders, children and playful skiers who want more than classic piste cruising.
