Under no circumstances should you book in advance, as the lifts are frequently not operated at all on certain days. For example, on January 26th and 27th, 2025. Someone who has paid for a 3-in-4 ticket, for instance, can only ski there for a maximum of two days. Bookings are only possible online, and when you inquire, you are rudely informed that online bookings are not subject to the legal provisions of the Austrian Tourism Promotion Act, but rather that the terms and conditions of Kaunertaler Gletscherbahn GmbH supersede the legal regulations, and that a refund is out of the question due to the closure of the entire ski area.
Stay away and head to Italy instead, where tourists are treated like royalty.

A typical highland approach to business – trails untended after snowfall, meter-high snowdrifts, and ski passes sold as normal. The conditions in the surrounding pastures are the same. I don't recommend it!

The Kaunertal Glacier is our favorite. Great slopes and perfectly groomed. Because it's only 18 km from the toll station, it's usually not crowded. A real insider tip.

I highly recommend it! The resort isn't very big, but there are no lift lines, the slopes are superb, and the views are fantastic. It's a really fun place. The tunnel and the steepest slope in Austria make you want to go even more!

Stosunkowo tanio. Piękne widoki. Wspaniale trasy głównie niebieskie i czerwone. Brak kolejek. Jeśli ktoś chce się wyjeździć to polecam. Mało atrakcji poza nartami. Brak imprez. Mi się podobało.

Rewelacyjne miejsce. Wraca tutaj od lat. Spokój, cisza, relaks, nikt na ciebie nie wpada, nie ma tłoku.

Im großen und ganzen ein sehr tolles Skigebiet. Zum runterkommen und entspannen optimal. Sehr variantenreich zum Ski/Snowboard fahren. Party machen ist allerdings nicht. Aber ich denke dafür gibt es genug andere Skigebiete!
