A great ski resort located near Innsbruck. The slopes are very well-groomed and usually have plenty of snow. A shared ski pass allows you to ski in neighboring Hochoetz, which can be reached by a free ski bus.

Betrifft die Hoher Alter Bahn: also der das als rote Piste im obrigen Bereich ausgezeichnet hat.. Mehr als fragwürdig, mit dem Wahnsinnsgefälle mehr als tiefschwarz. Da haben sogar Profis zu kämpfen..

Wenig Pisten km.
langsame Lifte mit wenig Kapazität.
4x Ankerlifte.
Wenn wie bei uns (Dreiseenlift) ein Lift ausfällt wird das ganze Skigebiet chaotisch mit langen Wartezeiten.

Kühtai liegt mitten im Skigebiet. alle Pisten bis Hotel befahrbar. alles sehr überschaubar und nett.

Wenn man , wie im Winter 2015/1016, mit keinen großartigen Erwartungen zum Skifahren nach Österreich kommt und dann durch einen Tipp einer Einheimischen ins Kühtai kommt, ist es einfach nur gigantisch. Sehr gute Pisten, netter Ort, kein Anstehen an den Liften, moderate Preise und super Gastronomien! Weiter so, wir kommen wieder!!!
