Very good resort. Good slope with some camber, but not perfect for skiing. Not too big, perfect size for a family.

Beautiful slopes, a bit higher than the Portes du Soleil, sometimes quite crowded.
Plenty of safe off-piste opportunities along the edges of the pistes.
The 4-hour pass is still affordable for a family.
Not many uphill climbs but a beautiful ensemble on the right bank of the Rhône

The Ovronnaz resort offers lovely ski slopes, and the investment in their new chairlift allows beginners to access more runs.
However, we would have liked to take advantage of the ski + spa package, but a "technical" issue prevented it. The person at the ticket office was extremely unfriendly and refused to offer any compensation.
A real shame.

La station d’Ovronnaz mérite à être connue. Ayant été pendant longtemps une station peu accessible aux débutants, elle offre depuis 2022 une nouvelle piste très accessible, fun et ensoleillé (Petit-Pré).
Pour les skieurs confirmés, la station les raviront par leur variété, leurs longueurs et leur proximité avec des spots freeride souvent bien sécurisés.

Station familiale avec un atout majeur que sont les bans thermaux. Très agréable pour les non skieurs qui peuvent s'offrir soins et massages. Belles promenades en toutes saisons.

Le domaine skiable n'est pas très grand mais assez varié avec une majorité de postes rouges.
Peu de pistes sont accessibles aux débutants.
Parmi les plus belles pistes, Tsantonnaire est très agréable à skier, large avec un relief varié et un schuss de fin très sympathique.
La poste la plus redoutable est Châtillon avec un téléski acrobatique. La pente est forte, certain passages étroits et souvent verglacés.
Dans l'ensemble il y a de quoi de faire pzlisir pendant un long weekend ou une petite semaine.
