Cortina d'Ampezzo has a wide selection of slopes to suit all tastes, whether you're looking for an exciting ski day with friends or a relaxing family day. The slopes are varied, with options for all levels, and the snow quality is generally excellent. I have a few complaints about the ski lifts, as they're dated and don't have protective domes, so you're not protected from snow or strong winds. Along the slopes, you'll find chalets and refuges, perfect for a relaxing break, enjoying traditional dishes and a welcoming atmosphere for après-ski. Although the snow parks are somewhat limited, the slopes and the beauty of the surrounding landscapes make up for it. Cortina d'Ampezzo is also an ideal destination for families, where not everyone enjoys skiing. The ski slopes are a short distance from the center, allowing skiers to enjoy the mountains while others can stroll peacefully through the heart of town. It thus manages to satisfy every need, offering a complete holiday experience for everyone. One drawback is the considerable crowds, especially during peak periods, which makes it a bit more difficult to get around when it's time to return to the valley, with some traffic jams forming, making the return journey longer. Another downside is the prices, which can be slightly higher than average compared to other ski resorts, mainly due to its international fame and exclusive location. Despite this, in my opinion, the beauty of the place and the experience offered justify the investment.
-wide choice of slopes-many huts and refuges-unique landscapes and proximity of the slopes to the center
limited snow parks - large crowds - higher than average costs - dated facilities

Excellent ski resort with splendid slopes but the ski lifts need updating to improve the flow of queues, old and slow lifts.
Excellent slopes
Old and slow ski lifts

It's incomprehensible that in a renowned resort like Cortina, there are truly old and dilapidated facilities... stuck in the 1970s... slow chairlifts, all uncovered... It's incomprehensible to declare that 95% of the slopes are covered by artificial snow, when 30% of the slopes are closed... even where there is snow... It's incomprehensible to have to pay for the full ski pass... just travel a few kilometers to the neighboring resorts... and you realize how the slopes and facilities are managed, how much investment is made to offer a cutting-edge service. Poor Cortina, it doesn't deserve it.

Very old facilities and slope management

One of the best Italian and European resorts for the extension, variability and preparation of the slopes.
Large area, excellent slopes

.
Outdated cable cars, without covers.. Necessity to use ski bus. In the brochures there are tracks that do not exist.

Immaculately maintained slopes, beautiful scenery, and the most beautiful black runs in the Dolomites. Always queues, chaos, and a lack of parking during high season. The return to the e. End on Sunday was a nightmare!
New Skiline facility that leads to the 5 Torri, and ideally unites the Val Badia
Lack of parking and few ski buses

Cortina is a great mountain, with many spread out areas of the resort. Because it is an Olympic mountain, there are lots of hotels and other accommodations. The views are spectacular especially from above the clouds. Cortina is relatively easy to get to, it is only a 1 hr and 45 minute drive from Venice and about 3-4 hrs from Milan.
Easy to get to, Nice town, lots of hotels, Olympic mountain, very spread out, great views, nice ski lifts (lots of high speed lifts)
no night skiing

Ensoleillement
Prix des hôtels en station

Pessima, veramente pessima segnaletica! Dovreste prendere ESEMPIO da Madonna di Campiglio dove lo sciatore sa sempre Qual'è la pista che sta percorrendo, dove sono i bimbi e dove le mappe sono perfettamente leggibili.
