Hello, I'm 30 years old and I learned to ski 25 years ago on these slopes. The resort prohibits snowboards, and that's perfectly fine. I completely disagree with the previous reviews! I've been coming to this resort for 25 years now, and the staff here were already here years ago, which shows a real commitment and a family atmosphere. The slopes are great for beginners and for experienced skiers too. The manager is anything but unpleasant... He's simply FAIR! When he repeats a thousand times an hour not to trample the slopes with his boots, when he repeats a thousand times to stay behind the safety netting if you're not skiing, when he asks for the rules to be respected 50 times a day! I can completely understand this gentleman. Regarding the bar/restaurant: I disagree with the statement that the food isn't good! I ate there again for lunch today: a charcuterie board with regional products, half a baguette, tomato, salad, sausages, and pâtés! Everything is there for just a few euros. As for equipment rental, it's very good equipment; you just need to know how to use it, of course! The price for two days for 3 people, lift passes plus rental equipment, is around €180, so it's PERFECT. The resort manager does everything to bring new things to the resort, and it shows because 25 years ago it wasn't like it is today. MR. MANAGER, a big thank you for the wonderful time you give us on your slopes! Thank you for the overnight stay in your parking lot at the foot of the slopes; the view from our campervan was superb.
Friendly and very quiet resort (very reasonable prices)

We encountered a man who was anything but welcoming, abrupt, rude, and unpleasant. Someone who makes you lose your temper! And this affected several other customers at the station!

The manager was very unpleasant, and the small resort was very poorly received. They rented us equipment that wasn't suitable for us and was outdated compared to other resorts. The information sheet said there was 20 cm of snow, but I don't think that's accurate…

We went skiing for the day, and the manager charged me for five adults even though I have an 11-year-old daughter. He said it was because of her shoe size (she wears a size 36), but the signs mentioned age, not price. When I asked why the signs mentioned age and not shoe size, he said it was either that or nothing… great customer service! My sister had her 10-year-old there, and they gave her a size 39.5 ski (she normally wears a 37) and charged her the junior price…

Unfriendly manager who loves money

We went to this resort for the first time, and it will definitely be our last! To begin with, three families went, due to a lack of organization and staff (I think). They made mistakes on all our forms and invoices… my sister was overcharged by €45. We had to explain the number of people at least ten times before he offered us a credit note (of course, the man wasn't very pleasant). My 10-year-old son, who wears a size 36, ended up with a 39.5, so it wasn't easy to manage… Then we took private lessons for my two children. They loved it, and I'd like to thank Quentin, who was really very kind to them! (It was the only enjoyable hour I had). When I was renting skis, the manager tried to sell me the lift passes, but luckily the instructor told me, "Wait a bit, it's their first time, they won't need them." And then I saw the manager's dark look because I had cancelled the T-bar lift tickets. Up until then, everything was fine, the children were having fun, we were having fun… and once my son had gotten used to doing his first runs, he wanted to try the ski lifts. I went and bought him a half-day pass. And then my husband went with my son to tell the person who manages the lifts, to explain that it was his first time… he told us no problem, it's our job to show him. We thought, okay, cool, we trust them, that's nice! He tries and falls (it's normal, it's the first time) and then the manager yells at him and aggressively takes him off the lifts, saying, "If you don't know how to ride, don't come back!" “My son is 10 years old… My son came back, I asked him if he had succeeded, and he said no, he didn’t want to anymore… except that in the meantime, some people had explained what had happened to my husband, which made him furious! He let out a scream. Since he wasn’t allowed to use the lifts and was afraid of the man, I asked for a refund for the lift pass I had paid for my son.” The manager (who had already given me a dirty look) refused to even listen to me. He gave me a credit note deducting the cost of the first lift, which my son ultimately never took (shameful!). I tried to explain, but he wouldn't listen and spoke curtly and stressedly, so I didn't want to pursue it further. I took the credit note, thinking I'd come back tomorrow, he'd take another lesson, and then he'd arrive with the lift tickets... We left around 5 pm, and the same thing happened again. Having incorrectly noted the skis, he made us out to be thieves because one pair was missing. In the end, he was right about his equipment when he added up the vouchers for the three families, and again, no apologies, nothing... The next day, when we were about to return, having a disabled person with us and feeling very unwell, we decided to cut our stay short and went to the resort to request a refund for the credit notes for my sister and me. There again, he curtly said, "You..." "Refund, but not you!" He told us to listen to him, so we listened. We told him to listen to us, but he didn't listen and left. We went to the bar to explain, and he walked off to the other side, avoiding us... and that was the last straw! They're very good at making people lose their temper! And he even dared to call the police! Bravo! It's shameful! We're not worried about an extra €15 when we decide to go on a family holiday, but it's being treated like dirt that bothers me... and I mean it! We went to La Bresse. Admittedly, the prices are higher, and it's much more crowded, but at least we were greeted with a smile, explanations, and professionalism, and we had a REALLY, REALLY good time after such a disastrous experience as Larcenaire!
The price is good, and it's not too crowded (now we know why!).
