Vallnord / Arcalís offers 30 km of skiable terrain across 442 hectares, with 29 pistes served by 15 lifts. The resort’s layout is concentrated around the Planells and La Coma areas, making navigation straightforward and efficient. With a summit of 2,625 m and a base at 1,940 m, the vertical drop of 695 m provides a satisfying descent, and snowmaking covers key sections to ensure consistent conditions.

Beginners will appreciate the Mega Verde piste, an 8 km green run that winds gently through the valley. It’s ideal for building confidence and enjoying scenic views without steep gradients. The Agustina Family Park offers themed zones and interactive features for children, while wide nursery areas near Planells are perfect for first-time skiers.

Intermediate skiers can explore blue and red pistes around La Coma, with smooth descents and varied terrain. The resort’s orientation ensures good snow quality, and the layout allows for continuous skiing without long lift queues. The slalom stadium and carving zones offer structured challenges for those looking to refine technique.

Advanced skiers will find 36% of the terrain classified as red or black, with steep ridges and off-piste options near the Creussans lift. The freeride zones are avalanche-controlled and offer natural features such as bowls and couloirs. The Portella run is a favourite for its gradient and snow reliability.

Expert skiers can access technical descents and freeride areas that host events like the Freeride World Tour. The Coma area features steep chutes and powder zones, while heli-skiing and guided off-piste tours are available for those seeking deeper exploration. Snow conditions remain excellent due to the resort’s north-facing slopes.

Freestyle riders can enjoy the terrain park near Planells, which includes 8 rails, kickers and a tubing lane. The park is designed for progression, with features for beginners and advanced riders alike. A chill-out zone and music add to the atmosphere, making it a popular spot for afternoon sessions.
